About Us
Bumblebees Belmayne opened its doors September 2008 and our sister branch located 0n the grounds of Sutton Park School opened September 2013. Bumblebee is an owner run facility, along with our friendly and qualified Team, we feel we can provide a happy, safe and loving “home from home” environment in a fun, child centered way.
Both our branches are self contained, modern, purpose built Childcare settings. It consists of age appropriate, individual rooms and large safety surface outdoor play areas. Our rooms are designed in such a way as to meet the developing needs of each individual child. The children are guided through a range of educational and play activities at their own pace. Our team create a positive and secure environment where children feel confident in exploring their surroundings.
We have an “open door” policy where families are always welcome but where the needs of all of the children in our care are always the first priority. Parents/guardians will be made feel welcome and regular exchange of information with parents/guardians and staff will enable a two-way process of support. We use an online childcare management system, Teachkloud App where we record feedback on your child’s daily activities and progression.
Here at Bumblebee, we follow the Montessori method of teaching. We use this alongside the Aistear curriculum framework, which promotes a play based learning environment.
OUR MISSION
Bumblebee Montessori & Childcare is a private early childhood care and education service. It exists to provide a safe, developmentally appropriate environment for preschool and school age children. Our focus is to provide a stimulating early care and education experience, which promotes each child’s Holistic development . Our goal is to support children’s desire to be life-long learners. We provide a home like environment where children are encouraged to develop at their own pace. The Bumblebee staff are committed to the families we serve, providing support and encouragement.
OUR ETHOS
The overall Ethos of Bumblebee Montessori & Childcare is to create a family atmosphere in a safe and secure ‘homely’ environment. Bumblebee staff comprises a team of highly qualified Montessori & Childcare professionals, who work together to maintain a child-centred approach which we find encourages independence, trust and confidence in the children we care for. Our healthy lifestyle of nutritional meals, daily exercise and educational play promotes healthy living for each child individually.
